2025 Corvette Adventures Road Tours
Wisconsin back roads are perfect for driving your Corvette the way it was meant to be driven. Our guided tours are designed to give you some of the best of Wisconsin's back roads.
The number of Corvettes in each tour will be limited to 15-18. In addition, some tours will have required fees for samples and tours as indicated in the tour description, as we have done in the past. For planning purposes, we have printed all fees at the tour stops.
Staging for all Corvette Adventures road tours will be in the road adjacent to the registration area 15 minutes before launching. As is our policy, we will launch all tours on time. You will receive a route map of all tours you have signed up for in your welcome packet.
Please also remember that most brewery and winery tours require closed toe shoes. We can’t emphasize this enough. . . every year someone forgets – please don’t be the one. Also, don’t forget to get gas before your tour!!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – TOUR DESCRIPTIONS
“SCENIC” – This will be a relaxed, leisurely drive through the countryside. Take in the scenery and the beauty of the land and enjoy the sights of the countryside driven in a relaxed manner.
“SPIRITED” – These tours are for drivers (and their co-pilot) who are confident in themselves and their cars and who enjoy driving their Corvettes in a more aggressive manner as the opportunity presents itself on a tour. Slower, more cautious drivers should either drive from the back of these tours or limit themselves to “scenic” tours for maximum enjoyment of everyone.

Tour 11 – Spirited - 9:00am - Throttlestop -Capones - Ziegler Winery
Throttlestop is venue with all types of automobiles and motorcycles for sale on consignment. It’s a very neat place to visit and dream about that car you had, wished you had or want to have!!
Capone’s Restaurant was originally built in 1846 as the Stage Coach Inn and Fuhrman Hotel and had earned a place on the State Historical Registry and is said to be one of Al Capone’s stops when traveling between northern Wisconsin and Chicago.
Capone’s is popular for our Burgers, Sandwiches, Wraps, Brats, Hot Dogs, Pizzas, Wings, Salads, and Friday Fish Fry.
Capone’s is also popular for reports of hauntings. Inside the restaurant, there were claims of pizza pans being thrown in the kitchen, a beer glass flying off a counter and the scent of perfume wafting through the air. Outside, visitors and passersby reported seeing movement and lights in the third floor windows and even the figure of a woman.
Following lunch you will travel to Ziegler Winery. Their property was purchased in 2015 with the dream of owning their own large vineyard and winery. Established along the east shore of Lake Winnebago, we are located within the Wisconsin Ledge AVA, a region where the area’s temperate climate rivals that of some of the best wine-growing regions on earth.
The vineyard has grown to over 7000 vines on approximately 12 acres. We currently grow eleven All New World Northern hardy hybrids – the only grape varieties that can withstand the frigid Wisconsin winters. All of our vines were hand planted with the help of our wonderful family and friends. We harvest by hand and every wine is crafted and bottled on our property.
In fall 2018 they started their first vintage. Over 6000 gallons (31,000 bottles) of wines were produced. All the wines are hand crafted and made in small batches so the attention to detail is second to none. From start to finish, 100% of the process is done on site. Their tasting room is one of the largest in the state, with two upper mezzanine levels – one side with upper fireplace, two larger lower levels for seating with a fireplace, an outdoor enclosed patio and a second patio.
This will be a fun tour!!
